Check foundation problemo3 months After moving into two bd rm condo I noticed some cracks on the living room .

We painted inside of condo and put new carpets.
Then after moving we noticed some cracks on the living room area.
Need to check out the cause for this problem.

You did not provide a lot of info on your situation - perhaps you can reply back with more detail - type of building, whether brick or concrete or concrete block or steel frame or steel studwall or wood studwall, what part of the country you are in, exactly what the cracks look like and direction they are going, and which surfaces (wall,ceiling, floor) they are in, and what building material that surface is made of (drywall, tile, stone, wood panelling, plaster, etc). Also - when was this building built, and what floor are you on, out of how many floors, and is there a crawlspace or basement or is it slab-on-grade construction. Also, any recent extreme rains or flooding around your property.
