Question DetailsAsked on 11/11/2013

Co. advertises duct & carpet cleaning but reviews cover only one service. Should we use 2 different companies?

In reviewing companies advertising Duct and carpet cleaning, found only review of either duct cleaning or carpet cleaning but no one company received a review of both services. Also, duct cleaning company did not show up under carpet cleaning nor did carpet cleaning company show up under duct cleaning although both services were offered in advertisements. Should we be looking at 2 different companies or is there another way to research reviews?

Duct and Carpet cleaning do not sound like compatible types of work - one uses circulating hot water and low vacuum cleaning, the other pressurized air and/or very high airflow vacuum so the equipment needed is quite different - and as you found, unlikely to be any single company listed under both categories, though I guess there are probably a few out there somewhere which have decided to do both the two services - but likely with different techs and truck.

Sounds like you need a Carpet Cleaning company and a Duct Cleaning company, or a Heating and A/C company which also does duct cleaning.
