Contractor not responding: nail pop, crack in ceiling, damaged cork flooring. What recourse do we have? 11 mo.

1 nail pop, a 3' ceiling crack and damaged cork floor still needs replacement of 5 planks. Job started 11 months ago. We want repaired furniture to be returned to our home. We have plans to go south for the winter. Must we stay home? Can we deduct the cost of these repairs from the contract, pay the contractor off and hire a new contractor? How much notice is required? 2 weeks? 3 weeks? He failed to remove all the hardwood flooring as contract stated.. Instead he laced in new to the old. He put in the wrong flooring. We accepted that after the fact. We wait 3 weeks between single work days. No responses to our phone calls or texts. What can we do to end this?
