Question DetailsAsked on 12/27/2015

Cost and amount of time to widen a doorway about a foot (old plaster wall - non load bearing)?

I want to have the doorway between my kitchen and livingroom widened about 10-12 inches. Walls are plaster (1949 built home). There are light switches on both sides. The kitchen side switch is directly in the area that would be removed, the switch on the livingroom side is not. Wondering about how long a job like this takes and approximate cost. Thanks!
