Cost to remove oil tank in Boston Ma area

Changed from oil to gas. Need to remove oil tank in basement.

Here are some similar questions with answers which might help - some are about installation or replacemetn but might have helpful thoughts for you anyway.

Be sure to check with state environmental department on whether contractor has to be licensed by them to remove above-ground in-basement tank - I am sure he likely does, considering how finicky they are about underground tanks. And note in the comments the emphasis on having all the piping removed too, to avoid issues and questions at resale time - you do NOT want the issue of a possible abandoned Underground Storage Tank coming up during escrow.
