Cost of replacing my 100 electrical panel to 200 and adding new circuts

I need to replace my elecrical panel to 200 and add new circuts. As far as I know, few breakers on my panel are being overloaded due to lack of circuts.

You can find a lot of prior similar questions with responses about upgrading your power in the Home > Electrical link in Browse Projects, at lower left.

Note - the comments rarely address new circuits - those can run (once the service/panel are upgraded) from as little as about $150-200 each if very readily accessible (say full open joists from ranch basement) to $500 or more each (plus drywall repairs and repainting) in multi-story houses, to $1000 range at times in concrete or brick houses where one has to get real creative with runs because of the solid walls/floors.

Note in some of the responses about, depending on what type of upgrade you are doing and in some cases what percentage of the system is being upgraded, you may be required to upgrade the ENTIRE house while doing it. For instance, most areas will allow repairs, but no additions to systems with cloth/paper insulated or interior aluminum (except for main feed) or knob and tube wiring, and in general will not allow upgrading such a system - though in some cases you can put in new circuits with a parallel breaker box connected only at the main, and not have to upgrade the old wiring.
