Could exhaust to roof leak after a shower?

Noticed a small amount of water on basement floor (unfinished area, just painted cement) under the bathtub/shower and sink area. Very small bathroom. Had a plumber come over and inspect. Ran the shower, sink, determined they weren't the problem. He thought it was the exhaust to roof that is the problem. It being winter, the fix can't be done so temporarily have a bucket there to pick up the small amount of water. Thing is, it seems to drip after a 2nd shower, not just 1. Wonder if this could actually be due to the tile surrounding the shower instead of the exhaust to the roof. Can showering cause the exhaust to roof to start dripping?
