Question DetailsAsked on 2/14/2020

Do I need an electrician to move a weatherhead/mast before replacing siding?

My house is 65 years old and the electric meter is outside my house with overhead lines attached to the facia and leading into the meter. I need to replace siding and facia and each company has said that the electric company needs to come out and put up a temporary pole to remove the electric overhead lines from my house. My electric company says they only come out and turn off the electric. This is in St. Louis County, Missouri. Do I need to hire an electrician to come out and help with this?
