Question DetailsAsked on 10/14/2019

Do I need an water restoration company?

Our washer and dryer are located in the hallway on the second floor. An entire load worth of water poured out of the washer and down through the walls. It came through the ceiling below via the closet door molding and the smoke detector. No ceiling or drywall damage at all. It just poured through the molding. I’m concerned about the interior of the walls. Is it necessary to cut open dry wall and have someone come out or, because there is no drywall damage, is it ok to leave alone?
