Do you need a computer for Angie's List? Or, can you receive printed booklets for your membership requests?

I would love to buy my In-laws a membership to Angie's List, but I'm not sure if it would work for them. They're both in their early 80's and do NOT have access to a computer or understanding of one, whatsoever. So, could you please let me know if they would be furnished some sort of reference booklet or guide to assist them with their requests & options? I'm just trying to figure out if this would be beneficial to them? Thanks so much! Krista A.

Hi, this is Meranda with Angie's List.


There is currently no print copy of the List. It's dynamically changing with every review submitted, so a hard copy would quickly be out of date. However, we do have a monthly print magazine in many markets (typically larger cities/regions) that includes informative articles about maintaining your home and health, plus a limited selection of reviews and coupons from highly rated companies in that chapter.


For people without computers and others who like the convenience, we still maintain a call center where our member services representatives will provide a list of highly rated local companies offering the services you need over the phone. They can help figure out what category or type of provider you need as well. In some cities, they can even help set up that service for you.


You (or they) can reach Member Services by calling 1-888-944-5478 on weekdays (non-holidays) from 8:30 a.m. to 8:15 pm ET and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
