Question DetailsAsked on 4/24/2014

Does Angie's List have a list of suggested questions for me to ask the prospective contractor.

I have hired so called professionals in the past. Some showed me there licenses and previous work, others were recommended and others were found in the neighborhood doing work for neighbors. I have had very negative experiences. I need real, honest people that take pride in their work and are, reliable respectful and responsible. Help me I need some Angels. Am I asking the wrong questions or am I expecting too much? I feel is I pay for a service..I EXPECT SERVICE. That is why I joined Angie's List. Please help me!

Check out www.angieslist.com/articles - they have done a number of articles on selecting contractors - you will have to peruse or Search, because the ones I have seen relate mostly to hiring specific types of contractors and things to ask about specific types of work - yard care, roofing, plumbing, siding and so forth.
