Does the adhesive used to install hardwood floors in a house built in 1956 contain carcinogen(s).

Three cats developed and died of complitations of oral cancers who were exposed to the adhesive when some pieces of the hardwood were damaged by water.

The problem may or may not be the adhesive. It does sound like you have an indoor air quaity issue. I would recommended that you seek out a qualified IAQ professional to do some air test and substance sampling.


You are breathing the same air as your cats. Your health may also be at risk.
