Question DetailsAsked on 5/19/2015

Does having air duct system (vents, returns, main trunk lines) cleaned cause dust to spread throughout house?

I had allergy testing and dust mites is my main problem. Never had duct system cleaning in any previous homes but current one is 36 years old and thought it might be beneficial. I am also concerned about cost as reviews I've read say many ads don't include "trunk lines" so estimated cost triples or quadruples to do complete job.

There's lots of other things to do that will help more then cleaning the ducts. And yes, dust may be worse for a a few days after cleaning.
