Hello, this is Meranda with Angie's List.

This isn't a core category, so I'm not sure there will be many reviews in this area/topic. But I'd suggest you can log in at and search for the category "Home Healthcare - Disability Equipment & Services" to see our top rated providers in your area. You may also just try searching for the keyword "elevators" to see if any companies come up in other categories that fit your specific needs.

If you need more help or want someone at Angie's List to help find the companies, you can also contact our call center at 1-888-944-5478 or send a written request to The call center hours are Mon-Fri: 8:30am – 8:15pm ET and Sat: 8:30am – 3:00pm ET

Good luck!

I would google for residential elevator manufacturers, or check Sweet's Catalog or thomas Register for manufacturer names, and contact them (or check website) for local approved installers - you do not want just any contractors installing this type of equipment, both for safety reasons and to preserve the warranty. Then check Angie's List for any reviews for those local distributors/installers.

If looking for a true elevator, that is your term, If looking for s stair lift, look under that and also under medical equipment if not listed under stair lifts.
