All depend of the quality of the materials you selected,
and the condition ot you subfloor.
--- an avg. materials price ( mid-high laminat floor ) is about $ 2.00 to $3.00 per s/f. incloud basic padding (not incloud moisure parior)
---an avg. install price (laminat floor) $ 1.50 basic installation
almost same goes to vinyl plank floors.
now all depend on the condition of existing floors.and your subfloor ???
excessive ??? ... maybe ! ! ! ..
