Question DetailsAsked on 5/15/2015

How much can I expect to pay to repair 3 fist size hole in drywall?

My son rented an apartment and when he left there were 3 seperate holes in the walls. One is the size of a fist and the others are half th size. I estimated aproximately 25.00 per hole but of course the apartment complex has charged an outrageus amount per hole. What is an average estimate for repairs?

How much should you pay - nothing - make him pay it so maybe he will learn some respect for the property of others.

This is a small job - so assuming no utility (wiring, etc) damage then you are talking about $100-200 probably for drywall repair (since such a small job, two trips - repair and mud first, then come back to finish out the repair and sand it. Then probably $150-250 for a painter to repaint the wall so it all matches. So - $250-450 would be my guesstimate for this.
