Unless you have a membership for both states and compare the Angie's List lists of electricians, then Angie's List is not likely to help you.

Here are links to the two state lists of licensed electricians - look at or print out both and look for names appearing on both at the same time, then check Angie's List for their reviews.

Unfortuntaely, it appears SD does not have an online license list - here is the webpage listing their phone phone number to check if a particular electrician is licensed - so maybe if you short-list Iowa electricians in your locale of interest to a half dozen or so, then call to check if any of those are licensed in South Dakota ?

Otherwise, take the Angie's List local electricians, shortlist based on reviews, confirm they are Iowa licensed, then call those to see if also licensed in South Dakota.
