Question DetailsAsked on 11/19/2014

How do I locate plumbers with experience replacing the water line running from the main into my home?

The Ambler Water Dept. was called in response to water at the curb in front of my property. I was told my waterline had broken (not the main and therefore my responsibility). Looking for plumbers who can repair this problem ASAP as I am without water today. Looking for proven experience and reasonable cost.

Search the List under Plumbers. Cost of course depends on your specific situation and distance to street and whether repairing one spot or replacing entire line - presumably you will want to open up the one spot to see wht the issue is, then consider total replacement from there is needed, when t you are not under the gun from this leak and water shutoff.

Prior responses on the issue and ballpark typical costs can be found by searching for waterline replacement questions in the Ask box, or in the Home > Plumbing link in Browse Projects at lower left.
