Write A Review - at right end of green banner bar - is how yuou leave a revie3w and rating on a vendor, which can then be accessed by other members.

Or, send him an eMail or letter complimenting on his work. For liability control, and because you do not know what his future performance may be like years in the future, I would be careful to make it a letter of appreciation about the work he did for you (which he would then be free to show to potential clients), but do NOT phrase it as a general recommendation of him or of his work to others.

Hi,

This is James W. in Member Care. Thanks for your interest in Angie's List!

We appreciate your feedback and would really like to help you share this painting reference with others.

You should know that Angie’s List is different from other online review sites as companies can't pay to be rated. We rely on support from our members and direct feedback just like yours. We can also work with you to resolve complaints and find the right company from the start.

So I really encourage you to first join our service, but you can submit feedback through our website or by giving us a call. While your feedback will be added to the provider's record, it won't affect the company’s ratings. Only Angie’s List members are able to increase or decrease a business's overall grade.

We have three different major aspects to our service:
•1. Search: Our Search option provides access to unlimited searching, access to great discounts, and access to reviews. We recommend that everyone signs up for a membership to gain a ton of great benefits that come with it.

•2. Shop: Our Shop option does allow non-members to buy Deals, BUT they must pay full price! So, you're going to save way more if you buy a Deal as a member.

•3. Fix: Our Fix option does allow non-members to submit a job through our SnapFix process. We'll match you up with a highly rated company on the list for this project. This can definitely be helpful, but you'll miss out on some potential discounts or searching around for a certain aspect of a company that you may not be able to do. Plus, there is a ton of power in letting a Service Provider know that you are a member of Angie's List.

If you are interested in joining the list, our most popular option is our Plus plan, which is currently $29.99 in our greater Charleston chapter. The membership is backed by a 110% satisfaction guarantee, so you can try our service risk-free. We also offer Basic and Premium plans available here . Head to the site for a breakdown of the options or give us a call. Should we hear from you within 48 hours of receiving this email, we’ll give you a first-time caller discount of 25% off!

You can reach us toll-free at 1-866-783-2980 to speak with a live representative. Our call center hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am-9:00 pm Eastern Time or Saturday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm ET.
