How do I remove a review from Angie's list? I found out the individual unexpectedly passed away, which explains

I left a review for a com pany that promised to come repair our roof, and then seemingly just dropped out of sight, would not return calls, etc. I have been contacted by his family to let me know that he died unexpectedly so I want to remove the negative review from his business. Please contact me and let me know how I can do this.

You can contact member services for total removal if you want - what I would do is log in, go to My Reviews in the pulldown menu under Account (at upper right of page), and jsut edit your review based on the company performance/impression on you up to that time, in case the family carries the business on. And note job was not done because of death of the owner.

This is James W. in Member Care. I'm happy to help!

I see that after posting this question, you were able to edit your review on DCT Roofing Solutions Inc and include some very nice and consoling words to the deceased's family, which was very kind of you to do. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please let me know. I would be happy to help. Are you still looking to have some roofing work done? If so, let me know and I will send you some highly rated options in your area.
