Initially try a NON-ABRASIVE chloine cleaner like Ajax or Comet for tile tubs and sinks, made into a paste and scrubbed with a rag or sponge. A cleaner like SoftScrub might also work. Ones that contain Oxalic Acid will work best on metal marks.

Sometimes you can also get them off with a soft, non-abrasive eraser - not a regular pencil eraser but a Pink Pearl or a Mister Clean Magic Eraser. Don't get overly aggressive as it will evendtually remove the gloss on the surface, which then makes it hold debris and form stains quicker.

Those will take off a light mark - if pretty well scratched on there, then get Barkeepers Friend powder (in cleaning products) - available at Amazon and Target and of course bar supply shops, among others. Scrub a damp paste - only as hard as needed to remove it, because it is somewhat abrasive. Ditto to baking soda, which can also work but is slightly abrasive.

Lots more hints if you google this search phrase - remove metal scratch in toilet
