How much does Nature Stone cost per sq ft?

I just received a quote from Nature Stone for my 20X21 Garage ($4200) and that includes tax. I'm trying to see if that's a fair price. The stone itself was 5 dollars a square foot for 420 square feet and the rest is installation costs etc.

It's 9-13 dollars per square ft for 400sq ft or more on average.

Like other comment says - sounds in the range for that product - though I cannot see spending that sort of money on it, especially with the number of bad reviews on the web about it's performance and particularly for a garage !

I can't see spending more than $6-7/SF for a polyurea or polyaspartic coating (which are more resitant to wear and staining and damage than epoxies like Nature Stone) which personally I still think is overkill for a garage, but to each their own.

LCD, Clearly you are not speaking from experience. I have had Nature Stone installed in over 232 homes over the past 10 years and I have had zero complaints. The only issue most people have had was justifying the price. It's 2 timesstronger than concrete, can be steam cleaned, power washed, vacuumed, mopped, swept, you name it! Oil, antifreeze, salt, ammonia, bleach, and even battery acid does not affect this stuff! Dawn cleans pretty much everything off of it! It doesn't crack, pit, or crumble and it's beautiful! It NEVER pops or bubbles like paint, epoxy, and tile! IT LITERALLY LASTS FOREVER. I wish I could purchase stock in it because it's literally amazing. Minimal maintenence and normal cleaning keep it looking beautiful! IT'S WORTH THE MONEY!!! It's not a temporary fix, IT'S A PERMANENT SOLUTION!!! It even has an antimicrobial built into the epoxy which means NO MOLD OR MILDEW LIKE CARPET!!! I will say this.... early on I went with imitators and in 2 years I had to call the Nature Stone guys to pop that crap up and install AUTHENTIC Nature Stone!! That was a costly mistake. Ive NEVER had one of my contracs call me to complain about nature stone. They have a 10 year warranty that they never have to use except for a top coat application every7 or 8 years if it's indoors or 4 to5 years outdoors AND IT'S FREE FOR 10 YEARS! THIS IS A SMART MOVE IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A PERMANENT, BEAUTIFUL, LOW MAINTENANCE SOLUTION!
