How much does it cost to convert from oil to gas heat?

Located in Nassau county, Long Island and already has gas in the home...gas hot water heater, stove and dryer.
Please include national grid rebates in the estimate, and the removal and disposal of the current burner and oil tank.

Here are a prior of similar questions with answers that might answer your question -

I did not address the possibility there of a natural gas conversion of the existing oil equipment - possible with some models, but unless these are pretty darn old not likely available, so usually means all new heating equipment.

Rebates you will hve to check out yourself - or get bids from several heating and A/C contractors for comparable quality and eneargy efficiency units to compare.
