How much would it cost to find and remove a Yellow jacket nest in my home

Yellow jackets are showing up in my home. Me and my wife kill like 20+ a day. They only show up in the kitchen and hallway. We keep all doors shut so they cant go anywhere. I hate confining myself into a room and feel like never leaving it.

Your Search the List category is Pest Control / Exterminating.

I would take a look around the outside during the day (when they are flying) first to see if you can see where they are coming in and out of the house - may cost you less if you can show the exterminator at least one entry/exit point, but don't assume that is the only point.

If only in the kitchen and hallway, my first place to look for entry points would be from a whole-house fan system in the hall that has lost (or never had) bug screening, an attic hatch left with an opening (both those also presume a hole in the eave or gable vent screening), or maybe a kitchen exhaust fan without insect screening or flapper. Of course, is also possible they are nesting in the attic and coming into the hall or kitchen through a light fixture or around kitchen ceiling flourescent trougher light fixtures, for instance.

Also, if you have clothes dryer in the kitchen/hall, sometimes they use the exhaust duct for a home if it is not used frequently.

Here is a related question about a nest in the walls that might be of interest too -
