Question DetailsAsked on 9/29/2016

How much would it cost to fix a cracked display on a Samsung UN55KS8500FXZA curved tv?

Accidentally hit screen and cracked it, entire display is not out, just a strip of black/discoloration a couple inches wide running from top to bottom.

Below are links to a couple of very similar questions with responses FYI - for large TV's like that certainly worth getting a quote from one or more TV Repair shops (your Search the List category) - almost certainly going to take either a new screen module, or if cheaper buying a new TV. Modern LED/LCD TV's are built with factory encapsulation of the LED's or LCD's in layears of plastic and glass, so basically a broken screen is not repairable - the wholescreen has to be replaced. Just be sure to check out comparable new TV costs - bearing in mind with a new one you are also getting a new TV and new warranty for probably a year as well, so not worth spending near new TV cost to repair an older one, and with TV prices coming down so fast is commonly cheaper to buy a new and probably larger TV than repair an older one with major damage.
