How much should it cost to paint the interior of 2500 sqft house to include walls, ceilings,doors and trim?

Here is answer from same question for a 2100 SF house owner:

Bear in mind per square foot costs are for the area actually being painted - NOT the 'real estate square footage" of the home.

Is the house empty or occupied? How much prep work? are the colors drastically different? Is the trim oil base or water base? Is the house built before 1978? How many doors? So you can see there are many variables to the question. Here is a rule of thumb I use when bidding a paint job. Wall 70-90 cents per sqft per coat, trim 1.20 ft doors $65 each pr coat,wall prep $75 pr hour, if 1978 with lead add 65% for proper handling. Good luck
