You don't say what you are replacing with - or is this a DIY job ?

For the tearout only down to studs and rebuild floor for normal tub or shower, probably $700-1000 range depending on flooring work needed. New valve (assuming single-handle shower valve) about $500 installed typically, assuming wide open studs for install. If by floor grade prep for drain you mean the base and liner and mudcoat for a shower, ready to tile, then add about another $700-1200 depending on whether prefab fiberglass/plastic base or full concrete - more like $2000+ if full copper pan.

If a DIY, why not tear out tub and tile yourself too - a hammer, prybar, sawzall and sledge hammer plus a small rental dumpster (or a pickup truck to haul to dump) should make quick work of it. You are missing out on the fun part of the job.
