Question DetailsAsked on 11/8/2014

How much will it cost to replace the main heat duct in a 16x70 mobile home?

I have a 1988 Schult Royal Viking 70x16 mobile home. The main duct seems to have become detached and is wide open beneath my home. (The main duct is fiberboard.) Can this be fixed, or does it need to be replaced? Anyone know about how much that would cost?

If the detached duct is flex and the main floor duct is fiberboard, it should be easily repairable.

Just need a better connection from the flex to the main duct, this happens often.

On cost - if just a disconnected duct than probably about $100-150 repair - maybe $50-100 more if a new section has to be put in because the old connecting part has fallen apart.
