As a practical matter Wooden shutters when kept properly painted will outlast

those NEW Plastic shutters. The plastic shutters DO NOT Standup being exposed to the SUNLIGHT .Just last week , someone inquired with this forum about repairing Plastic Shutters , the consensus of this forum , Toss them in the TRASH !

Regarding replacement cost ,You state you need 11 dual sets of shutters, 2 per window

and that 2 are long .

The question needs to be refined as shutter costs are totally dependant upon the SIZES.

Therefore , we would need to know what the window sizes ARE ?

Installation is totally dependant upon where the shutters are being Hung , be it 1st floor, 2nd Floor , 3rd floor and the siding type on the structure.........................!

You should be able to find someone to install them between $35 to $50 a window, then the cost of the shutters. Buy Mid America Shutters and save your receipt. They have a life time fade warranty and I have filed them for previous customers in the past and mid america ships out new ones. The only issue is you will have to pay someone agian to install.

Best Of Luck
