How to fix cracked screen in an Insignia tv

Insignia TV's seem to be a re-label brand - taking excess inventory and prior-year models and relabelling them under that brand to see, so could be Sanyo, LG, Samsung, Panasonic, or whatever TV brand under the label. Unfortunately, because of that, even if the equivalent brand-name TV is being recalled due to screens cracking (there are a LOT of LED TV screens with thermal or mounting stress cracking out there), if under the Insignia brand your warranty (and any recalls) is likely to be a lot less useful.

Appears to maybe be a house brand at BestBuy, per several reports - I could not find any links to other places to buy them. Certainly tons of negative reports and reviews about them on the web if you google for reviews or complaints about Insignia TV's.

TV repair is the Search the List category for this type of work - have make, model number off label on back when you call and they should be able to give you a rough estimate. COmmonly for less than about 50 inch TV's these days, especially if not a high-end 4G or smart TV, box store prices are so cheap that replacement rather than repair is commonly a better deal, especially if you cannot readily get the TV to/from repair shop and into your house without re-breaking it. Especially if you find a store which sells a comparable TV cheap and has free or cheap delivery service.
