We received 2 quotes for a small 120 sq ft brushed concrete patio 4" thick for $1,850.00. So I'm guessing the sq ft averages about $15.42 a sq ft.

Actually, more like $5-10/SF typically - but you are talking only a bit over a cubic yard of concrete and normal minimum delivery by ready-mix truck is 3 CY or so - so for that size job you are talking either paying a lot more for that one yard to be delivered, or for them to more likely do the job using protable mixer and bringing the raw materials with them, or even using ready mixed sacked concrete mix with a portable mixer - so your per-SF cost goes way up compared to a larger job.

Depending on your area the quote you got might be on (presumably higher cost area or poor access or a fair amount of prelim dirt work needed) - in a normal cost area I would expect $10-12/SF for that size job using on-site mixing, so it might be worth it to get another well-rated and reviewed contractor to give you a prive.
