Question DetailsAsked on 8/1/2015

How long should you leave up in your yard a providers sign who did work for you?

It's common for a service provider to stick up their sign advertising their company when they do work for you. Is there some rule about how long you leave it in your yard? And what do you do with these signs? Are they recyclable?

I take them down right away. They put these signs up without clearing it first with the homeowner that it's ok. If they ask, I will leave it up for a week before removing it.

I recycle them when I am having a yard sale or something and just paper over or paint over their advertising and repurpose it for whatever I need it for.
