How much do you pay a live in housekeeper who also cooks ,shops just about anything they need and it's a 5 bedroom

You can google this search phrase - housekeeper/cook pay rate - and find a lot of articles on the subject. Depends on local pay scales of course, but looks like generally around $10-15/hr for housekeeping only, $15-20 for housekeeper-cook - and on up for higher priced areas and for more skills required (like cooking for large or fancy dinnner parties rather than just family fare).

Of course, if live-in, the room and board component might change the picture significantly too - ditto if you provide the housekeeper with a client-owned car to use for errands and allow personal shopping or activities using the car.

Just be sure to comply with legal requirements for tax and employee withholding, state unemployment/disability insurance, worker's compensation, etc.
