Highly unlikely an animal chewed anything IN an outlet - possibly the wires leading to them, but more likely a bad connection that came loose. Other alternative is you tripped a breaker - checkk your breaker box for any tripped breaker (or burned out fuses if you have fuses still).

Search the List (in green banner bar above) for a local electrician with good reviews and rating - likely cost if problem is in the outlet boxes (unlikely if two went out) about $80-125 - if a breaker problem more like $150-200 depending on how hard those breakers are to get. If a break in a wire inthe walls or ceilings, then could run a hundred or more than that, plus leave some drywall repair and painting to be done, but problems rarely occur in the walls unless you drive a nail into a wire.
