Valve and backflow preventer fix or replacement should probably only cost minimal site visit fee for labor - about $50-75 typically for a sprinkler system installer, or about $75-125 for a plumber. If seals/gaskets cannot be replaced, each should cost about $10-25 depending on whether plastic or brass. Usually, backflow preventers are not field fixable - normally require replacement.
