How to get rid of squirrel urine in attic or crawl space?

I live in an apartment where squirrels are entering into a crawl, the pest control have taken out eight, but at least three more have entered. They are urinating and the odor is seeping into the floor of the crawl space. The squirrels have urinated so much that they have scratched holes and are trying to enter the apartment which is boarded again after having been boarded and patched after the first eight were removed. I smell the urine through the air vents too, on both floor of the townhouse. I also would like to know what to use as a repellent so they won't want to enter again?

FIrst - if a rented apartment, this is most likely the landlords problem to solve, not yours.
Second, the pest control company should have removed ALL the squirrels at one time, then blocked off all feasible and historic entrances with metal panels or heavy wire mesh screening. Then sprayed the area with a urine blocker, and in the worst areas sprinkled hydrated lime - outhouse lime, the caustic to the hands bright white powder, NOT regular garden lime which is gray. Only three repellents I have heard of really working - a shotgun with #8 or #9 pellets, a stealthy dog, and hanging a dead squirrel near the entrance - they will vamoose fast. Some people use mothballs, Fels Naptha soap bar, lysol spray - but in each case the cure may smell as bad as the squirrels. Putting out Wrigleys Juicyfruit chewing gum is supposed to work great too on squirrles and gophers, though causes a very painful death for the rodent as it blocks their intestines. You do NOT want to put poison bait under the house, as then they will just die under there and stink worse.
