How much time to put up curtains?

Want to hire a handyman to put up curtain rods. How much time should I expect it to take for each window?

Depends on weight of rod/curtains (or drapes), whether going into drywall or wood, length of span, etc. Might take about 15 minutes average for small bedroom windows with simple bar type rods through curtain pockets, up to from half to an hour or so for an 8 foot drape rod with side cord opening and closing, to several hours for a motorized drapery rod.

Why worry about time - assuming you have the rods already purchased, why not negotiate a flat price for all of them, since the scope of work is quite well defined.
