I have around 18 popular trees around 50 to 70 feet I need taken down in the Wirtz,Va, area

I would like to trade the lumber to offset the cost.

Poplar is not a very valuable wood (junk wood in many areas, both for finished wood and for firewood) - you might find a small independent sawmill or wood broker in your area who wants them, but not likiely for free - especially with small trees like that.

You can find a LOT of previous similar questions with answers in the Lawn & Garden > Tree Service link, under Browse Projects, at lower left discussing who does this, and some of the risks (especially if near buildings or crs or utilities) of having anyone but an experienced, insured Tree Service do this sort of felling and removal.

Plus if you want the small stuff and debris cleaned up afterwards and/or the stumps and above/near surface roots removed as well, then basically only a Tree Service is going to do that.
