I have a 2012 LG flatscreen that has a crack in it, its not to bad. How much would it cost me to ger it fixed???

I am near lafayette Louisiana could anybody help me out. I Can send pictures of the television The flat screen is a 2012

You can find prior responses to this kind of question in the TV Repair link right below your question. The consensus appears to be that somewhere around 25" TV and smaller, you are generlaly better off just buying a new TV. For larger TV's, Search the List under TV Repair with your make and model and serial number at hand (from nameplate on back or bottom) and ask what it would cost - and if too large for you to transport be sure they pick up and delier in that charge too.


Likely in the $300-500 range, because flatscreens have the display electronics embedded in the glass, so once you crack it and lose some of the picture the entire thing has to be replaced. If a crack but the picture is not affected you can sometimes gently superglue the crack to stop it from spreading, then use a single-edge razor blade to cut off the excess. Will leave a slight mar in the image but might be acceptable considering the cost alternative.
