Question DetailsAsked on 12/7/2017

I Need an arborist that removes pine trees for free and keep the wood.. 2 Trees that are 100 ft tall.

Residential home in Santa Clarita, CA. Two Pine Trees in back yard that are probably 100 feet tall or even taller. I am looking for a company that would remove them for free and can keep the wood.

You can find a LOT of similar questions with answers about free tree cutting in exchange for the wood, including how this is easier said than done (especilly if the wood is not a valuable species, which pine is not), how demand for "junk" wood is generally low (and more so in your low firewood use area), liability risks to you if not done by an insured Tree Service (your Search the List category for tree service companies and arborists), and risks to physical property and utilities if a non-professional cuts large trees near a house, cars, powerlines, etc.

I can tell you from seeing a few of these "Youtube Moment" incidents that a large tree through your house is NOT a good decor plan - nor is it easy on your wallet if they fell one through your neighbors house or car or take down a powerline or other utility.
