Usually you can get this service at photo developing and enlargement shops, and also at many MailBoxes Etc / FedEx / UPS Brown type stores. Many professional photography shops (portrait shops) also do this.

And of course, these days many good scanners for under $200 do a quite good job, and many come with slide and film strip adapters and light to digitize them too. I use an HP flatbed scanner that scans to 9600 dpi with very good results on old photos, slides, and negative strips, including black and white and color correction tools and negative to positive correction.
