Question DetailsAsked on 4/3/2015

I am cancelling the deal I purchased from C&Painting LLC on 3/4/15.

Only today, 4/3/15, did the company tell me that, because I have an outside job, I had to scrape, caulk, and prime the job before they start -- this was not described in the deal offer. I am not physically able to climb ladders and scrape paint, so I have to cancel the job. I would have cancelled the order before today, but the company didn't tell me of their requirement until today.

I can see where a flat price Deal might be for the painting only, as the prep requirements are different on every house - but I would be very surprised if they did not say that they would do the prep for a certain additional amount. If you want that, you might call them back for a bid on the prep part instead, then consider that price plus the Deal amount total versus other options.
