Question DetailsAsked on 2/24/2015

I have a contractor who claims an Angie's List 2013 Super Service Award, and yet isn't found on your site today.

is it possible to be there in 2013 and not listed in 2015?

It is possible - could have gone out of business, merged with or was bought out by another company, or fell off the list due to getting F reviews or violating terms of service or failing to respond to complaints.

IT is also possible you confused the AL search engine - it does not like multiple words and is nowhere as robust as Google. Try googling his name in a format like this - Pete's Plumbing Knoxville, TN angies list - be sure to put the "angies list" after the company name and town/state designation to limit the first page of hits to AL ones. If you try the one above for example (randomly chosen) you will see the first hit is for that company on an Angies List "/company list/" page - click on that link (while already signed in to AL so it recognizes you as a member to allow access to reviews and ratings) and you will go to the company profile page. It will come up if they have not been totally booted off or gone out of business, even if they are in the doghouse and not showing up in category searches.

BTW - a number of people in the past have asked how to see Super Service Award winner names from prior years - they have never provided a way to see that.
