doctor must be open to Homeopathy, probiotics, herbs, etc. instead of using drugs. He must be interested in finding the root of the problem instead of treating just the symptoms

If you can find a practitioner with an MD or DO degree but who is also a credentialed naturopath, that may suit your needs. A PA or NP with a naturopath background may also serve this need. Depending on what is going on a physiatrist is another type of
practitioner that tries to treat conditions with surgery as the last
option. It is important if you are using more than one practitioner to suit your needs that they communicate and that they have a respect of mixing alternative and western medicine. Another suggestion I have is not buying supplements from a practitioner suggesting them, but having them provide you with other sources to get the treatments to remove the potential for a conflict of interest. Some people work with a pharmacist and another prescribing practitioner to fill this need you are describing. Where you live can impact how many practitioners have a spectrum of credentials, and using a combination of practitioners provides most people with the comprehensive care it sounds like you are looking for. I am one of the pharmacists that works in this capacity. I live in Colorado, but there are pharmacists like myself around the country. Best wishes, I hope you find the care you are looking for.
