Question DetailsAsked on 12/27/2012

I can't find the towing/body shop company that towed my car on your list. Should that make me suspicious?

The company is RBF Towing and they were the ONLY towing company that we could find on December 26th that was open.

A company that's not yet listed on Angie's List is not necessarily cause for suspicion, it just means that the company has yet to fill out their own profile on Angie's List or that no Angie's List user has yet to add them to the List.

To be the first consumer to review their services (other consumers would love to hear about your experience!), click the "Write a Review" tab once you're logged into to At the top right of the screen, there's an 'add a provider to the List' link (pictured below). We'll ask a few basic questions about the company (phone, address, etc.), then you'll be able to submit a review about your experience.

I did a quick search on them - if you are talking about RBF Towing out of the Silver Springs and Takoma Park, MD area, they appear to be primarily a trucking and shipping company, so maybe the reason you were able to get them on Dec 26th is they were open 24/7 for truckers needing heavy duty tow trucks and/or tire changes. If that is the case, then you would not expect them to be listed on Angie's List, which generally only has listings for consumer companies.

If you mean 24-7 RBF Towing, this is a different company - according to state records, one truck and driver and only in business since February 2013 - so apparently a sole proprietorship, which may be why he was on call - may be on call 24-7-365 to be able to stay in business.

Found several web positive comments on each company - no negatives in a quick search, so probably has never been reviewed on Angie's List.

I presume this is a moot question now - as you surely have your car back over a month later ?
