Question DetailsAsked on 9/16/2020

I have gaps between roof ridge vent and shingles. I think bats are entering attic through here. Do I fix or replace

New roof & new ridge vent 3 years ago. I'm surprised to see gaps between the ridge vent & shingles. This is not the rolled ridge vent, but the sections, like the Snow Country. I have bats in my attic & critter control guy said its due to the gaps. Some gaps are at least an inch & I can see a small portion of the nail through the gap. Is this fixable or should I request new ridge vents?
