Question DetailsAsked on 10/15/2014

I am not sure how to give a thumbs up on an answer. I clicked thumbs up but it didn't take me anywhere.

I feel stupid but I cannot figure out how to give an answer a thumbs up. I clicked on the thumbs up twice but am sent each time to a place unrelated to where I want to be. Help! lcw

Hi, this is Meranda with Angie's List.

As you explain it, it sounds like what you're doing is correct. When you want to acknowledge a good answer to a question, click the thumbs up portion of the yellow box. That shound add 1 vote to the tally.

Click the little thumb up hand, not the number, and it should reload the same page and show the answer has an increased number of votes:

If that's not how it is working for you, please let us know the specific page/answer you are having trouble with and the page where it takes you instead. (To keep it in the same thread hit "Answer This Question" above and just copy and paste the URL of the question you were on, and the URL you end up, with as much context as possible.)

I hope that helps!
