While I've never heard of or used "Pet Town" food my rule of thumb is just this......I no longer buy any pet food made in China since the poisonings. I only buy Made in the U.S.A, for me it's a must.
Not one snack, canned food, dry food, or toy ever gets near my pets unless it is made here in the USof A.

Purina for example, doesn't state on packaging where made but has an 800 number to call. There are certain ones of their foods I absolutley will not purchase due to where they're made. I do call on every product they make.

Also I discovered something interesting, when I go to the pet store for food, I watch their sales, when I get the brands, Blue, Simply Nourish and Nutro, my guys don't eat as much as with the cheaper foods. Was quite surprised too that the suggested amount to feed them with these foods is less than most of the brands. I feed them exactly what they should have and believe it or not they rarely empty their dishes anymore.
Hope this helps.
