I have a very large Penoak tree in my yard, it is close to my house. I need it cut down, but i can notaffordto pay

Willing to trade the lumber if a company will cut it down. Licensed and bonded company. It is in my back yard. Maybe 25 ft. From house.

That wood (it is Pin Oak,, not Pen Oak, BTW) is commonly sold as red oak, but worth substantially less than true eastern red oak and not in demand at all for furniture or woodworking, plus it VERY commonly, in yard trees, has a flaw in the wood at the rings which makes it pretty useless for woodworking. Also commonly used for heavy load pallet construction and firewood, so don't expect people to come clamoring for the tree.

That close to the house you certainly want an expert, licensed, bonded AND INSURED company to do the felling at least - might turn out having a professional Tree Service fell the tree, then sell the wood to a firewood company will work out best - just make sure the Firewood company is insured and that you are named as an additional insured for the job.
