I live on social security disability. i have Lupus and due to it my teeth are in terrible condition and very painful. i have a small heal

I live on Social security Disability. I have Lupus and due to it my teeth are in very poor condition and painful. During my divorce, my x-husband cancelled the policies I had and left me with no insurance. I was also forced to file bankruptcy because he was leaving me with medical bills that should have been paid by insurance. Since, I have taken a small health and dental policy but they will not cover the cost of extractions and dentures. I am only 60 and on my own. no dentist will take me and I am a risky patient due to a compromised immune system and do not know where to turn. I don't do well with dental pain. Please help me. I feel so alone mary jane toothless in NC

Do you mean that he canceled your health insurance and thus you can't get the dental work done?

If so, I am pretty sure you are eligible for medicare if you have already been receiving SSD benefits for at least a year.
